I have a Dell Inspiron 6000 notebook with both a wireless and Cat5 NIC card.

Both will connect to the Internet - no problems.

When I try to connect the my LAN - I see the work group (from other
workstations), but cannot see the device?

I cannot see the LAN from the Notebook? I can only see the workgroup, I
assigned it to.
I do have File and Print sharing on and if fact set up a couple of shared
folders.

Any thoughts or advice.

thx

Can you map it by IP?

Sorry for not getting back sooner.

Found my problem - User had Norton Internet Security and it was blocking
everything.

Once I removed it - NO PROBLEMS!
