XP Home setings didn't migrate to XP Pro

I just did an upgrade from XP Home to XP Pro and find
that when I boot up I get a choice of op systems, I f I
choose Pro none of my settings update from Home, even
Office won't work - any idea's?

If you get a choice during boot then you installed XP Pro in a dual-boot
configuration; NOT as an upgrade to Home. That's why settings didn't
transfer.

The only 'fix'is to uninstall the Pro installation and then reinstall it
from within Home as an upgrade.
