XP Home P2P Network - Services Question

On a small 8 workstation network, all running WinXP Home (mix of SP-1 and
SP-2), using a LinkSys Cable Router/Switch, which operating services should
be changed from their default settings to tune the network?

Network is setup using manual addresses (192.168.1.x) and everything is
running fine right now. Have not found much on setting up this type of
network and which service settings should be changed. Found several sites,
such as Black Viper's that give some info but doesn't address a peer-to-peer
network such as this.

As long as all is well, you may consider not to alter any services. Dont fix

Also, Just FYI, if you are using a router you are not using peer to peer, or
more commonly known as ad-hoc. You are still in infrastructure mode, just
not using DHCP.

Im not understanding really what you are after...Is your nrtwork working or
not??? Why do you want to tweak if it is working? Are you looking for
something specific or just in general?
