xp home network w2k

I am trying to share a printer on an XP home machine to w2k pro machines. Is
this a limitation of XP home as it uses simple networking/file sharing. I am
able to see the xp home machine from the w2k machine but not the other way
around. But from the w2k machine I am only able to see the computer, nothing
further (no shares).

Please advise.

Make sure file and printer sharing is enabled.

If you have any problems, try running the Networking Wizard again and create the Network setup floppy disk. Use this on the 2K system.

If you still have difficulties, check on the printer manufacturers website to see that it is a network compatible printer, some Compaq / Lexmark inkjets are not.
