xp home login problem

Hi guys,
windows was not displaying the desktop after i logged on so I did an online
scan from onecare - great intil I rebooted. now it only log me in and out
immediately. Ran a repair but that did not work. followed the tech info to
copy userinit.exe to usaupdater.exe but there is no file in system32 with
that name. HELP!

Did you tried Safe Mode or Lasst good known Configuration by pressing F8?
