xp home installation prob.

My kids somehow had corrupted my os, it was sluggish and I found it to be infected. I thought maybe since I couldnt remove it I would reinstall xp home.
However, at 13 mins remaining it stopped with error saying Unregmp2.exe failed. Get IUMS not in ddl Msdart.dll.
Now it just sits and everytime I reboot and try to continue install, it goes to that point and stops. Any idea how to continue this install or what do I do next? HELP PLEASE!

When the problem occurs, press Shift +F10 to bring up the
command prompt. Then type taskmgr.exe in the DOS window
and press Enter. The Task Manager should be started. If
not, try to press C+Shift+ESC. In the Task Manager
program, select the error messsage window in the
application list and click "End Task". In the process
list, terminate the unregmp2.exe program. Exit the DOS
prompt window and resume the installation process.
