I am trying to install software for a palm pilot. Everytime I try, I get a
message that pops-up as a MS1607. unable to install installshield scripting
runtime. Can someone help?
 
Do you have Norton's AV, Norton's Internet Security, or Norton's Personal
Firewall Installed? If so, you may be getting a conflict as these programs
attempt to block scripting (by default IIRC). Look through the carious
settings for these programs and you should be able to temporarily disable
script blocking and install your palm software - then just turn script
blocking back on.
