msi files not working

Hello, so I am currently trying to install Active Virus Shield from AOL and
the msi file that came with it does not work. Other MSI files do not work as
well so I suspect it is a problem with my Windows. When I click these files,
nothing pops up.

Also, I have a problem with some of my Install files with InstallShield, I
get an error message "1607: Unable to install InstallShield Scripting
Runtime." Don't know if this is related to the problem described above.

FYI, bump doesn't do anything on a Usenet newsgroup. All the folks here are
volunteers from around the world. It can take 24-48 hrs for someone who
might have an answer to see it and reply. If you don't get a response in 48
hours, then repost putting in the subject something like "Second post on
...."
