XP Home Edition & Pro

What is the difference between Home Edition and XP Pro. I
have Home Edition and was thinking about upgrading to
Pro. Just don't know if I should or not. Anyone have any
answers. Please & Thank You

If you don't know, the answer is almost certainly that you should
not. XP Professional and XP Home are exactly the same in all
respects, except that Professional has a few features (mostly
related to networking and security) missing from Home. For most
(but not all) home users, these features aren't needed, would
never be used, and buying Professional instead of Home is a waste
of money.

Also note that Professional allows ten concurrent network
connections, and Home only five.

The only other point is that in a network, Pro will support 10
connections, Home only 5

Unless you see something in Pro only that you realise you *need* hold
onto your money. The systems are otherwise identical, and things like
stability or performance would be no different
