XP HM EDTN Reset

They say to reset your whole computer every few months but for me it has
been years. My computer is slow & has too many minor problems. I need restart
my computer from scratch & delete everything & start over again, I forget the
term used. I have Windows XP Home Edition and a Compaq Presario Tower. If
anyone could help me please that would be wonderful.

bought new,
