xp full version installation after disk wipe

I'm getting failure to load operating system error
message when booting on the CD drive. Any suggestions?

It's not booting from the CD it's seeing the empty hard drive instead.

Make sure you're set to boot from CD in the BIOS.

If it's set right, you'd see a message that says "press any key to boot from
CD"
