XP freeze after connected to network

Hi!

I'm having problems with winXP computer joined to domain.
Computer is fully scanned with newest antivirus and antispy programs and
appears to be clean.

Computer is working fine in safe mode altrough it will not load any
network adapter driver (nvidia) when choosing safe mode with networking.

When computer is booted into normal mode without network cord attached,
everything is working fine. I can run all programs for hours without
problem.

Booting into normal mode attached to network allows every user to log into
domain or local account, loads all programs, allows one to connect to
internet but after 20-30 seconds freezes in a way that num lock and caps
lock is working, one could move mouse pointer, Alt-Ctrl-Del is responsing
but task manager is never displayed. If one waits enough at login screen
(until all programs are loaded I supose) computer will freeze too.

I tried to use kerio firewall (turned off windows firewall) to block
whole traffic and gradually allowing connection by connection but as soon
as i allow connections to DCs this client freezes again.

Seems to me that my computer is signaling some other computer on net that
it is alive and than that other computer initiates some program on my
computer that is blocking any work.

Tried turning off all startup programs with msconfig but no luck.

Please help!

Examine event viewer in safe mode and look for events that happened just
before your freeze.(more info needed)Also examine startup logs and dump log.

Check the NIC card driver, it might be the problem...

No symptoms are pointing to faulty NIC or NIC driver. On the contrary, to
much traffic or some faulty traffic is overwhelming computer so it becomes
too slow.
