Xp CPU 100% CISVC.exe

Hi,

Sorry if this has been posted befor but I just have to report this! I have
had a nightmare with my laptop being S-L-O-W!! I found that the CPU was
always at 100% and that CISVC.exe wass causing all of the trouble. I
terminated this process and all was fin and faster than I could believe. I
have found the solution is to go to Administrative tools and Select
Services. Right clicking the indexing services and selecting manual start
stops it from coming back.

I post this just to help all of the people that have been affect by this and
cringe to think of all the novies that may never find this.

Comments welcome

Yes, that speeds things up. Turning off Indexing would do the same thing.
Waiting for it to index your drive would too.
