XP Code/HELP

CP

I bought an Certificate of Authenticity and have an XP
CD. I don't know why but nothing works when i plug in
the code on the certificate of authenticity. What do I
do or what do I have to buy to get this computer working?

XP CDs come with a CD key that must be input during installation. If XP
were purchased at retail, that code is on the CD package. If XP was
supplied with your computer, the key is usually on a sticker on the
computer.

And to add to what Michael said--If you tried using one of the online sites
to purchase a COA for use with a CD that you or someone else had you have
been taken.
Only volume licenses can be sold by the seat and require special media to
install.
