XP clients mapped drives to NT4 server

I have several Win XP clients connecting to a Win Nt4
SP6a server. On the clients I have some mapped drives on
the server. When I on a client computer try to explore a
mapped network drive it takes up to 2min the first time
to browse the network drive after that it works fine.
Then after a while the same problem apperes. I triy to
browse a network drive and nothing happens for ap. 2min
the I can browse witout problem agine. This ptoblem only
apperes on the Win XP pro clients not on the Win 2k and
win98se clients.

if other Operation Systems including w2k don't have the slow issue, you may
check the hardware settings such as NIC and hub/switch.
