XP Client on W2K Server - SLOW

We have a W2k Server with 20 workstations attached.
Gradually replacing W95 with XP.

Connection speed on new XP machines is very slow.

Checked DNS & DHCP Configurations... but all ok.

IPCONFIG /all shows everything but Gateway pointing to
the server.

Any suggestions?

if dns and ipconfig setup correct, you may want to check the hardware
settings such as nic switch/hub.
