XP CD with working HDD installation, no repair option.. Why ?

Hi again,

Following my previous post, I decided to give a try to a solution I
found elsewhere on the net : to perform a repair install.

After loading my install CD, I am presented with a screen where I can
see the current XP partition and the free disk space.

Also, option to [Enter] to install XP in the currently selected
partition, [C] to create a new partition in the free space, [D] to
delete the selected partition or [F3] to exit.

If I press [Enter], a list of formatting options is offered, but
there's no option to repair the current partition.

If I remove the install CD and reboot, the system boots correctly the
XP installation.

Why is the "repair" option missing ?

Thanks.

Thanks, I was finally successfull using my original (not slipstreamed)
CD..

Could it be the presence of an incorrect winnt.sif file on that
slipstreamed CD ?

TIA

Perhaps you have a OEM version disk and not a retail version.
