XP cannont mount Win2K share

P

Peter Richardson

I am obviously missing something on my Win2K setup. We
have several machines, 1/2 with XP and 1/2 with Win2K.
One of the Win2K boxes can have drives mounted from other
Win2K boxes but any attempt from XP hangs explorer. The
XP boxes can mount drives on all the other Win2K boxes
just fine.

Any hints?

- Click Start / Run / cmd {OK}
- Type this command:
net use x: \\WinXPName\WinXPShare (insert correct names)
What message do you see on the screen?
