I'm looking for recommendations on backup programs, for windows XP home,
that will write to cd. My understanding is that the NTbackup that comes
with windows doesn't do so.

Anyone have any input for me?

Thanks,

NTBackup lists my CD-R/W drive as a possible destination so I would
think it can back-up to it in packet mode (Drive-letter-access using
DirectCD, InCD, etc.)

Are you looking for freeware backup programs or shareware ones?

Just tried using NTBackup with a CD-R/W (properly formatted with InCD)
and it wouldn't. Tried with Back-it-up and it did.
