XP backup hangs up

My XP backup program hangs up in the middle. It stops
sending files to my CD and, instead, just starts
increasing the estimated time remaining. Any
suggestions? Help!

Hi Joel,

For starters, the backup program wasn't designed for writing to a CDRW
drive, though it can work if you have packet writing software installed.
Create the backups on the hard drive, then copy these files to a CD.

Ntbackup will only write to a CD if 3rd party CD burning software is
installed and even with it, will only create one CD. It can't span to
multiple CDs.
