DVD Burning Problem

I have created a slide show with an audio background using the windows media
movie maker, but when I try to burn it to a DVD, it starst "saving the movie
so it can be burned to DVD" and shows me a status bar which indicates it will
take about 10 minutes. As the percentage completed goes up, the estimated
time remaining goes down, but when the percentage complete gets to about 72%
(actually, after doing this several times it always hangs up at 72% complete)
and says there are about 6 minutes remaining, it seems to hang up and stay at
72% complete and the estimated time remaining slowly INCREASES! I let it go
for almost 2 hours this morning and it stayed at 72% complete and showed over
an hour estimated time to complete. Any ideas what is happening and what I
need to do?

Are you using an early version of Ahead Nero 7 to burn DVDs?

Not sure I can answer that. I start out with the "Windows Movie Maker"
software and just follow the straightforward instructions built into that
apckage, including the action option to "Save to DVD". I assumed the Windows
Movie Maker had watever software it needed after I click "Save to DVD", so I
don't know if it uses any Nero 7 software or not. How can I tell?

I had this problem.......Just save it in AVI (from your list of options) that
should work.
