I have a small office (25 computers) and all are running Windows XP. I
am using a stand alone XP machine that rarely gets used but is using
it as a print server. Now occasionally some people on my network will
lose the ability to print from the printer and the print server has to
be restarted.

I have disabled all screen savers, Turned off the power saving option
sin the network card, turned off hibernate, turned off all power
schemes.

Any suggestion would be great.

Thanx.

You might be hitting the network connections limit (was 10 for NT, it
may be down to 5 for XP.)

Spend $75 for a real dedicated print server appliance. It will pay
for itself by reduced electricty comsumption in a year.

Don't blame me. I voted for Gore.

Some XP Home some XP Pro. The printer server is XP Pro.

Thanx
