XP and WIN 2k networking problem

I have two PCs. I have win XP installed on one and win 2k on the other. They
are both WORKGROUP members with the same username with administrator
privileges and no password. When I try to browse from win XP to win 2k there
is no problem, but it dosen't work the other way. I just cannot access the
XP machine with the win2k.

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Thanks for your help!

If you have Macafee Personal firewall (Or others perhaps)
try setting them to allow inbound access for the IP
address of the other system. I just did it and now can
see the WIN98 machine from the XP-Pro machine (including
the HP printer !) and vice-versa

Thank you it works.

Try this - on the XP cpt

go to control panel, administrative tools, local security policy, local
policies, security options - double click on 'accounts: limit local account
use of blank passwords ...' and set to disable. Click OK, Close policy and
reboot. Does it work now?

Good Luck
