XP and RIS

I too am having the same issue as RE: XP RIS error and it is not unexpected
and the issue seems clear. My image is fully patched and probably contains
one or more hotfixes that modifed the ntoskrnl. I have, of course made sure
the flat image had all SP levels slipstreamed.
My question is...is it possible for MS to supply us with a list of hotfixes
that modify the file so they can be selectively uninstalled from the image,
if possible, so the highest level of security can be maintained on any image
we roll out with the lowest level of modifications required AFTER
deployment.

Excellent question. I hope you get an answer from a MS staffer.
 
I did not read the other post you mentioned but this a problem here as well. 811493 is the big pain to date but withthe changes in microsofts methodology we can'y identify it . Found KB article that lists the Kernel hotfixes that have been rolled upand they are listed in KB 820128.
