Xp and networking - number of simultaneous connections

Is their any way to get around the magic number of
10........we have real problems when all the kids try to
access their files which are stored on the server
computer. Some can't open them while others can't
save...HELP

Jod;
10 is the limit for Windows XP Pro.
You need a server such as Windows Server 2003 if more than 10 are
needed.
