We have been using a Lexmark 2381 Plus for printing
packing slips and checks via Win98SE clients quite
successfully. Now we are in the process of upgrading to
XP and inconsistencies begin. For instance, when tractor
2 is used to print checks, then reset to default tractor
1, XP tries to continue to use tractor 2 to print packing
slips. If, however, a Win98SE client is the first to
print packing slips after checks are printed from tractor
2, then all is well for XP also. This won't be an option
when the XP upgrades are complete. I've tried a variety
of Epson drivers to no avail (Lexmark doesn't support XP
for this printer). Any ideas?
