xp 64bit compatibility issue

hello, we upgraded windows xp pro to 64bit and we have various issues, one of
them is the following:
1. Business objects can not start giving error message 'connection not
opened 64013 '
what we can do about it?

What application is giving that error?
Sounds like a 32bit application that is misbehaving in the 64bit world...

How did you manage to "upgrade" XP 32-bit to a 64-bit version? There is
no upgrade path from 32-bit to 64-bit, you have to clean install. You
should ask your question in a 64-bit newsgroup.

That's the name and manufacturer of the software?
Okay...

Well - it may not be able to run correctly in a 64bit environment without a
patch or possibly a different version (if it will run at all...) You should
contact that company - whomever they might be - and see what they say about
running the software you have purchased from them on a 64bit OS -
particularly Windows XP x64.

There isn't enough information here to help you.

However, you should start with asking Business Objects support, and I would
suggest that you mention which modules are in use and when exactly this
error appears, and what other sytems are involved. All of these are
important!
