Note a thing, as near as I can tell.

microsoft.public.windows.64bit.general is certainly alive and kicking;
was there another specific 64-bit newsgroup you're having trouble with?

I was having trouble accessing the one that appears to the left on my screen,
but now it's working.

Glad that the problem is resolved. However, just out of curiosity, how
did you expect anyone not looking over your shoulder to understand
precisely what "... the one that appears to the left on my screen..."
means. You do realize, don't you, that we can't see your monitor?

Sorry, I meant the navigation bar on the left side of the web interface that
lists all the XP newsgroups.

Oh. Is there any way to view that newsgroup through a web interface?

PLEASE DON'T! Set up Outlook Express as a newsreader and use it, you'll be
much happier with the results.
