I have a 4.3 gig dvd file I want to place on me hard
drive, but I get the error about the 4 gig limit... can I
do this without changing from fat32 ? Thanks

No, that a limit of the fat32 file system.
you'll have to use NTFS.

No. You need NTFS I believe.

No. Just go with the better file system (between the two.)

No. That's a limitation built into FAT32. You'll need to convert
to NTFS to do this.

FAT32 has a limit in its design that means files have to be of a size
that will fit in 32 bits of the directory entry. That is 4GB (less a
couple of bytes) and if you need files bigger than that you *have* to
move to NTFS. Read up on conversion at www.aumha.org/win5/a/ntfscvt.htm
