Extracting Files Larger than 4 gigs??

Well I Have 2 Hard drives
A 40gig Fat32 Drive Master
And a 250gig ntfs Drive Slave
When I try Extract a 4 gig File In my NTFS Drive It gives me The Usual file
larger than 4 gigs cannot extract error. Well since I cant convert my Fat32
Drive because It always gives me an error when I convert and trust me I tried
everything to fix this and I dont want to get into that now

Well Im guessing when files get extracted through Winrar It goes through the
Primary Drive first and then to the slave or something like that(maybe
through Temp) So is there any way to Let My Slave Drive extract this 4.5 Gig
file without Having to Format my Fat32 Drive so I can convert it??

Try a search for file splitting programs. You might want to see how much
free space is needed to run. Just experiment.

I dont think that would work since in order to Splt the file you would have
to extract it first...My Problem is extracting a 4.5 gig ISO file compressed
to 3.5 gigs.

You may also have to change the Documents and Settings folder to the NTFS
drive for this to help. So if you change the temp file and also the
Documents and Settings folder this may solve your problem. BTW, what
program are you using to extract this compressed file. If you are using
winzip there is a location in it to change the working file, and temp file
location and this could be set to the NTFS drive (Options, Folders tab and
the right panel, top and bottom choices).
