XMPlay question about BASS

Exactly WHAT am I supposed to do with the BASS file I downloaded? I have to
compile it or something? It's not very well stated ...

Okay, okay -- I see that the DLL is in there. So the file enables sampling,
streaming, MOD and MO3 music playback, and recording functions, right? Of
course, I'm not sure what most of this actually _is_. ^_^;
