First: Some of you might find it crippleware, but the remaining functions
can be exactly what someone is looking for, so I still mention this one

Name: Xat Show
Vers: 5.02
Auth: Xat
PLic: Freeware / shareware (Free / standard + Pro version)
BLic: Freeware / Shareware (Free / standard + Pro version)
Note: You download a full version, you can use as the standard version.
After 30 days, it referts to the freeware version.
The Info is about final freeware version
Info:
xatshow freeware edition
The Freeware Edition includes everything you need to compress your existing
photos to make stunning slide shows and screen savers.
Features:
Make single file screen saver & slide shows (.EXE) - no viewer needed
Make slideshows for your web pages (uses xatshow java applet xatshowApplet)
Screen Saver & Slide Show are the same file -
the user can decide to view as a slideshow or install as a screensaver
Ideal for email or web download
Use it to send your photos to friends, family and colleagues
Give away your screen saver on your web site as a promotion tool
Select the quality level
Compress a complete folder / slide show in one go
Rotate images
Reformat and crop to widescreen
Support for many cameras
Advanced options
Export images from the slide show
MagiCompression Technology
Actualy, the full (shareware version) can do a lot more, but after 30 days,
you are left with a screensaver and slideshow maker.

As said, I might have (again) stressed the use of the word 'freeware' again,
but IMHO, the resulting 'crippleware' will be functional enough for some.

I've used this one for years because it has some unusual "liquid" transition
effects. I highly recommend it as well.
