I recently saw a screensaver on a Mac, which showed a bunch of pretty
landscapes in a slide show. Yeah yeah, I know, slide show screensavers are
13 a dozen. However, this one had a couple of nice features I liked, and I
have never seen on a Windows screensaver. First of all, there was always a
subtle movement to the pictures, making them come alive. A slight zoom, a
rotation, a pan, just enough to make the picture more than a still. Second,
there was a crossfade transition, much better than the 90s PowerPoint-style
wipes that seem to be the standard on all other slide show savers I have
seen. And of course everything from the pans and zooms to the crossfades
were silky smooth.
Does anything similar exist for Windows?
