IS there anyone out there in Australia using the PAL format that are
successfully running their X800 Pro through to their widescreen TV ?

I am damned if I can find the right settings to get the PC picture display
correctly on my panasonic rear projection television. 640x480 shows
correctly, but as soon as I go higher the screen wont downsize to fit the TV
screen, I have to scroll to the sides to see the missing bits :-(

Also, when I try to run 1080i ad high resolutions it shits iteslf and rolls.

Any help appreciated.

I don't have any connections into the video card HDTV driver group.
I found this page http://www.ati.com/products/radeonx800/specs.html which
seems to say that you can set the video card to be different resolutions.

http://www.ati.com/support/manualpdf/X800agp.pdf page 49 seems to
say something about "I can't see the entire display"

I did leave Terayon for Nortel But Jumped off that burning ship to
come back to Terayon.

I am using the x800 supplied Yprpb/Ycrcb cable ( think is is a 7
pin to R,G,B Cable) . My Sony Supports all inputs 1080i,720p,480i/p, etc
( I have used it with the Xbox in every format). The X800 doesn't seem to
have the option of changing the HDTV config in the Latest version of the
Catalyst drivers.

Another question - What is the deal with the HDTV wonder- Would
love to get one but they are not sold in Canada

Thanks

Joe
Sorry - Have not had the chance - I will definitely try it in
the next few days
