X1800GTO vs 7600GT

hi, I`m building a new pc and am torn between these two gfx cards. I can`t
afford anything better so please no suggestions to that aim. i`m not
nterested in overclocking the cards either, i just would like opinions of
which card is the better buy. out and out frame rates are not the main
reason to buy so if a 7600GT can manage 2 or 3 fps more than a X1800GTO for
a given game thats not an issue. what i`m looking at is things like power
consumption and stability and support for the latest versions of DX9 and how
quiet the fan is on the card. any help would be appreciated.

If you like image quality vs fps ati is the card tro chose. but if
your interresting in fps then the 7600gt is the card to chse, over
ever these to card thend to perform equaly so image quality and pfs if
acheave at the same time with the x1800gto vs the 7600gt for fps.

On new egg you will find that the nvidia one is cheaper but as i said
you will sacrifice some goodies
