WYSIWYG Fails in Word 2007
Vista Home Premium x64 64 bit

I previously did this exact operation successfully in Word XP. I thought it
might be a conversion issue, so I recreated a new template in Word 2007 from
scratch, and the problem remains the same.

Word Template has the following characteristics

It is letterhead
created a text logo using 2 fonts in a text box to control positioning
precisely
created a section break continuous and typed in text of address in upper
section
in next section added standard body elements.

Looks perfect on screen. Printing cuts off the text in the text box.

I have tried every layout manipulation I can think of but it still is not
giving me WYSIWYG printing.

An effective workaround is Save As PDF, then print the PDF.

Any insights would be much appreciated.

Over the last 30 years or so whenever I encountered a problem like this it
was always related to the printer driver. Check to make sure that you have
an up-to-date driver that is Vista 64 compatible.

Thanks Bogey Man, All drivers are the latest x64 versions, installed from HP,
and tested using the HP driver testing tools.

Another person suggested it was due to printing outside the usable area of
the printer (such as too small a margin). This is not the case, either. The
text box prints in some areas of the document but not in other areas of the
document, when repositioned for testing purposes. So it is not the text
itself.

Any other ideas out there?
