Not Responding - Word 2007 on Vista Home Premium

PLEASE HELP ME!

Word 2007 (Office Home and Student 2007 version) on my new laptop with Vista
Home Premium does not work. When I SAVE or OPEN a file, then the word stops
responding with a -> Not Responding message on the left top corner.

But all other programs work fine (Excel etc...). Please let me know if you
have any clues. I already reinstalled my Office Home and Student 2007 more
than 2 times. That is not helping me. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Re-installing rarely resolves Word issues as the installation is rarely the
