Anybody know the cause of this boot error message? I click "OK" and my system seems to run just fine.

I'm running W2K SP4 on a Compaq Evo.

wupdt.exe is a known virus/trojan... update your anti-virus and clean up the
machine. and do it soon as you will shortly be receiving virus laden email
for using your real address on here.
