Wrong Display Adapter

Roy

I just changed my motherboard to the exact same
motherboard that I had previously. However, the onboard
nvidia Geforce4 420 isn't used as the main display
adapter. Instead, the Win Xp Pro is using a non-plug and
play vga display driver. I've tried updating by running
the updated drivers for Geforce4 420 which I download
from the nVidia website but after restarting, the display
adapter wouldn't change to the correct adapter. Can
somebody help me?

Thanks,
Roy

Dennis,
Do you have the updated mothboard drivers installed (these
will also install updated AGP drivers)?
Here is a link to the latest nVidia drivers....
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_53.03
Also make sure that you have DX9.0b installed.... here is a link to that as
well.
