Wrong date and time displayed in FP explorer

PDF files added to the site display correct "last modified" date and time
when viewed in windows explorer. But when you look at the same directory in
FP, it shows a totally different date. And since that date is older than the
current info, it does not publish the new files...... Any help?? Thanks!

Did you import the files into your current open FP web via FP Explorer?

No, We've always just copied the PDF files over to the development site
directory. This problem just started in the last week. Before that the
correct date displayed everywhere. I've verified the correct system time on
all computers and systems involved. I just tried the import function and
that does change the date, but what could be causing the wrong one to display
all of a sudden??

I have no idea, other then you always need to import any content that was not created by FP into the
web before using.

The timestamp displayed by FrontPage is not the timestamp on the file,
but that stored in meta data. If you copy a file into the web using
Windows Explorer the meta data is not updated, whereas Importing does
update the meta data. Sometimes, though not always, running
Tools->Update Hyperlinks will update the meta data after copying files
with Windows Explorer.
An alternative to File->Import is to drag the file from a folder in
Windows Explorer into folder view in your open FrontPage web.
