WPG Graphics viewed in Windows Explorer

I'm using XP Home Edition and was wondering if there is a
utility or add-in which would allow me to view my
WordPerfect graphics files (*.wpg) in Windows Explorer?
Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know any software capable of directly converting .wpg files to .jpg
files so you can see them with XP.
I know one way to convert them but it is slow.
Open Word Perfect and insert your .wpg file on the page. Make sure it fills
at least one quarter to one half of the page (you can experiment with the
size, depending on quality).
Once done, click on File and click on Publish to HTML (I have WP 10 and it
has this option, I don't remember if this option is available on earlier
version).
This will now make a new file, an HTML file, extension .htm. Once done and
saved in the folder you want (probably better to make a new folder before
you start all this and save everything there) double click on this HTML
file and it will open in your browser. Right click on the photo and click on
Save as on the opening menu. A window will open and the name of the file
will be there and under the file name will be the file type and it should be
JPG or just select JPG for file type and save it in the same folder. You now
have the same file in this folder but it will be a .jpg file. If you double
click on it, it will open in XP Picture and Fax Viewer.

See what you get with your first .wpg file using the above procedure. Is the
picture big enough when opening as a jpg, if not increase the picture size
after you insert it in WP. If you want to speed things, insert 4 pictures on
your page. Then use Publish HTML to make one file containing the four
pictures. Open the file and you will see 4 pictures. Right click on each
picture and Save as. You will have to experiment with how large a picture or
how many pictures you insert on the WP page before you click on Publish
HTML.

I converted many of my old .wpg files this way, not fast but it worked.
