WP Printing over network issue...

I have 2 PCs both running XP Home, all up to date with MS & Norton. They are
networked and working fine, the only problem is that i can't print via
network to a shared printer (Epson Stylus 820) which is attached to PC #2.
Previously i had it set up to print over the network, although now i can'
tseem to be able to get it working properly. the printer works when attached
directly to either PC. Additionally i can find the printer when searching the
local network, and when i try to connect it says that the host does not have
the proper driver installed, and asks me to specify a driver for the printer.
I have d'l'd and installed the current drivers from Epson to no avail.

i'm sure that i'm just missing some simple detail here, can anyone advise me
as to what i'm missing?

Right on..I have the same printer as you. I have it networked and all my
computers are able to print to it. First thing you can do is to completely
uninstall the printer and start fresh again. Here is the web page for the
printer's latest updates and drivers, although I'm pretty sure you already
know it. Anyways, give that a try and see if things turn out better. Good
