Worst advice u have been given?

Opt out of Goverment pension plan and buy a private one.

Fortunately, I didn't ;)

A friend who is also an IFA suggested i put some money in to a certain building society in case the got taken over. The only taking over that has happened is that they have taken over other societies. Still i look on the bright side if i had got a windfall of say £400 the friendly agreement was i would buy my mate a meal out:rolleyes:
