I want to download the patch but am not sure how to tell
if my windows XP Professional is 32 or 64 Bit. Would
someone please help me with this problem. Thank you in
advance.

From your Windows desktop or Windows Explorer, select My Computer, then
click on Properties. If you have a 64-bit, machine the information
displayed about your version of Windows will explicitly say that it is
64-bit; otherwise, it will say nothing. 64-bit machines cost around $15,000
and make use of the high-end Itanium processor.
