workstation driver not installed

I have a RIS image where the computer is trying to automatically join
the domain, I get an error that says "workstation driver not installed"
and it will not join the domain automatically.

After it errors out, and the machine is rebooted, I can join the domain
with no problems whatsoever.

Any ideas what is causing this?

I did have a few windows updates that got installed when I was ris'ing
up the image (don't know which ones). Could that be the problem?
