workroup security

Hi,
I use Access 2003. I created a workgroup and setup the security and users,
also the passwords. It works well on computer, looks secure.

But when I copy the secured database to another computer using default
workgroup "system.mdw", then I secured the database is wide open again
without password to open. How do I prevent this to happen? I am thinking
after I copy the secured database to another computer, it still looks for
the original workgroup file?

Hi, Kai.

If the database can be opened without the workgroup file that was used to
secure it, then it isn't secured properly. You've missed a step. Read and
study the Security FAQ to find which step you missed. You can read the
