Working with access 2003

I have just installed 2003 on my computer. I am building a database for
someone who only has 2000. Am I able to build both 2000, 2002,2003 databses
at the same time. The default is 2000. Wne I go to options and change
versions is this permanent. Or can I switch back and forth.

I'd use the default (Access 2000) because it is readable on all versions.

That was not my question. Im asking if I can swith back and forth building
different databases on one machine.

Yes you can switch back and forth. Also if you happen to have Access 2003 as
your default database option and you open an Access 2000 database Access WILL
NOT change the database to 2003.

Yes you can, BUT if you have an Access 2003 database, it won't be readable
in Access 2000. It will in 2002 because they are the same format.
