convert 2000 - 2003

I have 3 people that I have upgraded from Access 2000 to Acess 2003. The
databases were 2000 version. NOW, I try to open the databases and it comes up
saying the databse are corrupt and I need to compact and repair the database.
I was able to open them up before with no problem. I went back to the tape
backups and tried to restore the files and all of them still come up corrupt.
I compact and repair the database and it losses everything and is less than
half the size of the old database. I open up the database with a 2007 version
and it automatically converts the database to 2002-2003 without prompting to
ask for this. NOW the data is all there but the forms and reports are
missing. Any help is greatly appreciated. I have a lot of people mad right
now.

New info - I went and created a new database in 2003 and then went into get
external data and imported everything. So far from the way it looks
everything came over. I am in the process of checking now. Still do not
understand why 2003 would not open up a 2000 database that it did open before?

Were your 2003/2007 installations fully patched? It's the only thing that I
can think of off-hand.

Yes, All office patches and windows patches on all machines. That is one of
the things I always check. Did some more testing and I imported the data into
another new blank database and imported things a little at a time. All the
tables came over OK, All the Queries came over OK, All the forms and Reports
came over OK. There was nothing in the Macros and Modules. When I clicked on
the PAGES tab to check on it, It came up the the corruption error message. I
went out to my test computer with the last office 2000 install on it and
there is nothing in the pages and it doesn't give me any error message when I
click on it. I was able to import everything needed for the new 2003 version,
So there hoopefully is no more problem.

Thanks
