working live....

How do I revert back to working from my hard drive rather than live? Having
read various posts on this subject I'm taking their advice.........but dunno
how to! Please help.

If your live web is the most current:
open FrontPage but with no web open, if one opens just file/ close web.
connect to the live web:
file/ open web and type in the http:// address of the live web.
when it's open just click file/ publish web and browse to a folder on your
local machine. (make this empty folder ahead of time because if you just
dump it into the "my documents" folder you'll have a mess.)
