Hi this is my first attempt at installing any version of vista. I have
downloaded the current public beta and installed it and so far all of my
hardware is working driver wise at least. Below is a list of the hardware I
have in my PC and what I did if anything to get the drivers to work in vista.
Im running the 32bit version build 5384.

Mother Board

Asus P4P800 Deluxe

No additional drivers required (presnt at install)

Nic

OnBoard 3Com 3C940

Manually installed the XP driver off my original ASUS Motherboard CD.

Working Perfectly

TV Tuners

2x Hauppauge Nova-T (9002) Tuners

Manually installed the drivers (in order, don't worry if you don't install
them in order you will get some errors saying that your missing dll's but
when you install the rest of the drivers this will correct itself).

Working Perfectly

SB Live!

This one was a little tricky but it's still quick to do. Download the XP
driver installation exe from
"http://us.creative.com/support/down...ric=1926&Product_Name=Live!&OSName=Windows+XP"
you can't install this as it needs XP but what you can do is download Winzip
10 from www.winzip.com and then open the driver file. Once open extract all
of the files to a folder on your desktop them manually install the XP-2000
driver.

Working Perfectly

Graphics Card

Gainward 6800 Ultra

Dowanload and install the vista beta drivers from
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x86_88.61.html

Working Perfectly

Belkin F5U220 5 Port USB PCI Card

No additional drivers required (presnt at install)

Working Perfectly

Multiport Camera Card Reader

Not sure what make this is but it uses cmwatch as a driver/app

Intermittant works occasionally as a mass storage device will continue to
investigate.

Microsoft Wireless Multimedia Keybaord and Explorer Mouse

No additional drivers required (presnt at install)

Working Perfectly

Microsoft Media Centre Ir Port and Remote

No additional drivers required (presnt at install)

Working Perfectly

Microsoft USB Fingerprint Read

Manually installed the driver which seems to install OK but the reader app
will not install. (Digital Persona)

Untested hardware that I will check later.

Canon MP150
Samsong SPP 2020 bluetooth photo printer
Logitech Messenger Plus WebCam

If you need any help installing any of the above I'd be happy to help.

I have a Belkin Wireless G USB Network Adapter (F5D7050) and it is working
fine in Vista x64. It took me the best part of a day to get working but it
was worth it. Here is how to get it working.

Go to http://www.ralinktech.com/supp-1.htm and download the USB drivers (3rd
option down).
Install the Ralink application and don't worry that it comes up as Ralink
Wireless LAN Card.
Go to Control Panel and right-click your Belkin USB adapter and select
Update Drivers. Manully browse for the drivers and go to c:\Program Files
(x86)\RALINK\RT7x Wireless LAN Card\Installer\Winx64 and click OK. Select
the RT2500usb driver. At this point I selected the Wireless 11g USB 2.0
Stick. Ignore the warnings that the drivers may not be correct for your
hardware and the drivers should install fine. The name of the device in
Control Panel will change to Wireless 11g USB 2.0 Stick.
Finally, right-click on the RALINK application icon in the system tray and
select Use Zero Configuration as Configuration Utility.

At this point, my Belkin adapter worked fine and has worked flawlessly
since. Please let me know if this helps.
